Slate, rails, pockets, felt, and frame — disassembled, transported, reassembled, and re-leveled by a crew that has done it hundreds of times.
A pool table cannot be moved in one piece — and trying is how frames crack, slate chips, and felt tears. Done properly, the rails come off, the felt is lifted, the slate (one to three pieces, 150 to 250 pounds each) is removed and padded individually, and the frame is broken down for the truck.
At the destination we reverse the process: rebuild the frame, set and shim the slate, seal the seams, stretch and re-attach the felt, and level the playing surface with a machinist’s level. If your felt is worn, ask about re-felting at the same time — it is the best moment to do it.
